Laura engages with clients on a genuine level with a relaxed approach and sense of humour. She is known for getting to the heart of issues quickly, tailoring her approach to each person, and finding practical solutions for healing and growth.
Laura has a unique perspective both as a neurodivergent individual and as a parent to two neurodivergent children (both now adults). She really understands - not just in a ‘textbook’ kind of way.
Laura has a diverse background in private practice, forensic and crisis/emergency department settings. She works with all ages, and with a range of presentations including ADHD, autism, BPD, anxiety, and trauma. Laura’s diverse toolkit includes Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, Coherance Therapy, Schema therapy, DBT, CBT, i-CBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Intervention.

Dr Zeppy is the most popular member of the Flex Psychology team. His clinical approach is simple: greet every client enthusiastically, supervise sessions from the nearest comfortable couch (preferably yours), and provide emotional support through strategic cuddles whenever invited (or even if not invited).

Melissa Haffenden

Melissa is a compassionate and down-to-earth clinician who creates a safe, supportive space for healing. With a Master of Social Work and AMHSW accreditation, she brings deep expertise in trauma-informed care and a strong commitment to helping clients feel understood and empowered.
Melissa tailors therapy to each individual using evidence-based approaches like EMDR, DBT, CBT, and Trauma-Focused CBT. She also integrates mindfulness and sensory modulation to support emotional regulation.
She works with people navigating trauma, PTSD, self-injury, chronic suicidality, anxiety, identity struggles, relationship challenges, and more. Melissa is especially passionate about supporting those who’ve felt overlooked or overwhelmed by traditional systems of care. Her approach is human, hopeful, and grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity to heal.
Olivia Lamb
Provisional Psychologist
Olivia is a Provisional Psychologist who holds a Masters of Professional Psychology from the Cairnmillar Institute. She is passionate about supporting people to feel understood, valued, and empowered in their mental health journey. Olivia recognises that everyone’s experiences are different, and she works collaboratively with her clients to help them move towards the changes that matter most to them.
Olivia is trained in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also incorporates relaxation and mindfulness strategies, helping clients build practical skills to manage challenges and improve their overall wellbeing.
She has experience working with adolescents and adults in both clinical and school settings, and has experience supporting individuals who have experienced family violence via a counselling helpline. Olivia brings a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental approach to her work, creating a space where clients can feel safe to explore what’s going on for them.
Olivia welcomes people of all genders, sexual orientations, cultural backgrounds, and neurodiverse identities. She works with clients aged 13 and over and provides support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, and a wide range of other mental health difficulties.
